We know not everyone has access to a Kali exercise group nearby. That's why we're offering the chance to experience Armadong Kali through our training courses.
With the Armadong Kali training courses you can become an Armadong Kali instructor and trainer in three simple steps.
The Basics courses are the best choice if you want to familiarise yourself with Armadong Kali. They teach the substance (techniques and exercises) of Armadong Kali in a detailed and concentrated way. The ArKa Basics courses answer the questions 'What should I train?" and "How do I start?"
The series consists of three weekend courses:
The Foundation – Here you will learn the basic movement patterns and techniques of the ArKa system. We cover body weapons (empty hands), knives and sticks. You can train alone or with a partner. All exercises are short, concise and have a direct link to practical application. There's no need to memorise complex forms.
Into The Flow – is the next step after 'The Foundation'. The aim here is to internalise and consolidate the basic movement patterns. The training is mainly based on Armadong Kali's 'Disruptive Flow Exercise' approach. Knowledge of the movement patterns from Part 1 ('The Foundation') is a prerequisite.
Let's Get It On – using ArKa tactics to solve practical situations. This course includes training with protective equipment. Participation in Parts 1 and 2 of the course series, physical fitness and sufficient practice of the material from Parts 1 and 2 are prerequisites.
Our free T4T courses provide comprehensive support for trainers in all aspects crucial for developing a training group and organising and implementing training. To participate in the T4T courses, we require a solid grasp of fundamental techniques. If you believe you meet the criteria, contact Tuhon Uli at one of the courses.
A second visit to a place reveals a whole new perspective. You will recognise more details on a second visit because you are already familiar with the place. This also applies to our training courses. You should attend courses 1 to 3 at least twice if you take your training seriously. The second time, you will see more and better because you are already a bit smarter. You will also understand better what it's all about and the courses will become a completely new experience.
That's why we offer the ArKa Basics series of courses on an ongoing basis over several years. The basic exercises and core techniques are covered repeatedly in the courses, but Tuhon Uli also keeps things fresh by varying the techniques covered in detail. Those who attend the basic courses several times will develop a solid foundation and gain a complete overview of the exercises and techniques of the basic level.
